St. Marys, GA—Santa has a problem. A world-class meanie has threatened to steal Christmas from the little town of St. Marys because the town is just "too happy." Santa's challenge to keep Christmas alive sets the stage for St. Marys Little Theatre's holiday production, "Where Are You Christmas?," an original play set in St. Marys, Georgia, interwoven with traditional and contemporary music.

To be performed at Theatre by the Trax December 13-16, "Where Are You Christmas" is an enchanting musical that will appeal to all ages, according to producers Joe and Terra Lucent. The Lucents are residents of St. Marys, who wanted to share with the community a message of hope and love. Joe Lucent explained:

"The story is a celebration of the true spirit of Christmas," he said. "It's the perfect event to get everyone immersed in the Christmas spirit and to experience the joy of discovering what Christmas is really about."

Audiences can expect a few surprises, some special effects, and the charm of characters never seen before that keeps the evening lively, inspiring lots of laughter and perhaps a few tears.
"Where Are You Christmas" is written and directed by local resident Barbara Ryan.
Scheduled performances are December 13, 14 and 15 at 7 pm and December 16 at 2 pm. Tickets can be purchased at the St. Marys Welcome Center, Bulldog Liquors, Cedar Oak Café, and On the Green Salon, or can be reserved by calling 912-729-1103.
