Stalking the Wild Mushroom
The first of a series of informative, exciting and often surprising presentations about Wild Mushrooms, this program will cover various uses of fungi, their basic anatomy, classification of mushroom groups, and their natural habitats. Their beauty and biodiversity will be shared through entertaining discussion, complemented by color photography. Program presented by mycologists Alan and Arleen Bessette. Saturday, Feb 4, 10:30am-noon at Crooked River State Park-Nature Center in Saint Marys, GA. 912-882-5256. $5 parking fee plus $1 program fee/person
