Family Fun Day at Crooked River State Park is Saturday, September 8, from 10AM – 4PM. This first annual event provided by Georgia DNR Law Enforcement features:
3-D archery shooting, pellet rifle target shooting, fishing simulator and laser shot shooting simulator, saltwater fishing clinic sponsored by GA DNR Fisheries, elevated tree stand safety, SAFE boat static display (children can tour the boat). Nature Center will offer live animal programs throughout the day. Kids completing all events will be eligible for prize drawings. BBQ and drink sales sponsored by C. MO’S KIDS (Empowering Kids, One Adventure at a Time). $5 parking pass. Event free. Information 912-882-5256.
