“Edible and Poisonous Mushrooms: Risk or Reward!?!” is the second in a series of informative, exciting and often surprising programs about Wild Mushrooms. Saturday, March 17, 10:30am-noon, Mycologists Alan and Arleen Bessette will cover myths about edibility and the eight classes of mushroom poisoning. It includes some of the more common edible mushrooms and their poisonous look-alikes. Culinary tips are also discussed. Optional is a tasting of some wild mushroom cookery.
